Semester 2 Update

After the Christmas Holiday, we were told we had a meeting with Frank from Stormcloud to show off our build so far. The feedback was harsh but it was also very helpful. It helped us focus in on the direction we needed to go and made us start thinking about building a PROTOTYPE for submission as we, until this point, have been very focused on building the wider world of our narrative. This meant our work was everywhere rather than being very focused on a small quantity but good quality of work.

After this team meeting we were told we would be pitching to Sony. Our producer was unable to attend so myself and Brodie split the planning and presenting of the presentation between ourselves and did several practice runs whilst the other members of our team worked on getting more into our build and producing the video.

We all spent the entire week fixing everything up in whitespace and everyone involved worked really hard.

Recolored the tiled rock asset just to show my team what it could look like in different colours and show re-usability. Obviously this recolouring can also be done in Unity, for ease.
